The Room 2003
Why I like The Room is entirely because of external reasons. It's the people I've associated with this movie, and the period of my life that coincided with my first dozen viewings of this thing, which I recognize now as very formative. Its a period of my life where teenage me really came into his own. And I'm really happy and proud my past self got to be the person he was. That association is what I love.

Let's Scare Jessica to Death 1971
Definitely my favourite discovery I've made this October. Absolutely stellar mood. With the sparce acoustic guitar soundtrack, the fuzz of the old celluloid, and the admittedly loose ADR, make up this film's dreamy atmosphere.
