oh, i absolutely adored it. i knew i would, i knew way back when i first heard about it, but it wasn't autumn then, and it has got to be autumn in order to get the whole experience out of this film, naturally.

many layers and facettes to this one. we see the characters being surrounded by negative space, we see them on camera. rosebuds, asparagus, pouring rain. nobody is as they seem. the use of symbolism here intrigues me, as well as the complexity of the characters. you may call it a haunting experience, you may feel nothing at the end. good film.
