A well-made and tense thriller in its own right, but one that is insignificant to the ending and legacy of Breaking Bad. It was nice to hang out with Jesse Pinkman one last time even if things aren’t the same as they used to be.
-This was...ok I guess? Pretty embarrassing that this was what all of that ruckus was about. Definitely not all bad but this movie’s false sense of profundity really irritated me. Not all films have to have a ton to say, but don’t prop yourself up and pretend like you do.
-The B-plot involving Gotham’s garbage strike and subsequent riots was really poorly done. The movie goes out of its way to be apolitical (it’s not afraid to repeat that sentiment outright)…
