a fun romp! I loved the s’more outfits!
Watched this at Sherman Oaks Galleria in 70mm for the true complete valley experience! Appreciated the crowd cheering at the many Valley references and in jokes and the PTA conversation afterwards. Did not appreciate how heartily the crowd laughed at the Asian jokes which made me feel sad and icky and weird. This is a companion to Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood; a sincere Los Angeles love letter paired with cloudy character ethics, fuzzy scene sequences, loose ends, period specific cars, and outdated racist humor.
