Perfect, slick and mean.
James Caan is one cool motherfucker!
A film about the cost of living for yourself and rejecting a system thats unmoving.
Also with a parade of classic cars set to Tangerine Dream smooth as butter synth and a 10 minute practical welding sequence, Dads everywhere rejoice.
'There's a nice way to say that Karen'
Its technically flawless, uses colour like Picasso and as a musical; every song is a banger, more importantly its a timeless ode to anyone who had or has a dream or a vision of a life they could live or may have missed. It has alot to say about nostalgia and the balance of looking back and reflection with moving forward and moving on which I think the end sums up perfectly.…

The native American respect for natural balance and surival pairs perfectly with the predators gleeful and technologically superior need to hunt. Beautiful, amazing movie.
Jack Bauer eat your heart out. Twisting Billy's ear like that, that wasn't torture. He just made that up... On the spot.
Wasn't as entirely terrible and generic as the internet might have you believe. Gosling is talented enough to give even the thinnest of characters some depth and likability and is decently lit for the most part, incredibly glossy, although ut does have that modern digitally look to it. Some nice drone work sadly ruined by speeding it up. Some fun set pieces, enjoyed myself.
Absolute sucker for a great claustrophobic horror/ thriller, the neat premise allows for inventive smart set ups and payoffs as it follows a boy kidnapped by the towns resident creep, The Grabber. (One of the rare new masked horror icons maybe??)
Ethan Hawke is skin crawlingly good in this, just nasty and creepy to the core. All the kid actors especially the lead siblings are incredible and there is just enough levity in some of the sass from the sister…
