Note to self to never watch a queer film with a str8 audience smh.
At least in the Q&A the first question was someone asking the filmmakers how they felt that large portions of the audience laughed at key scenes in which the main character, a man, puts on the dress. To me, and the person asking the question, and the filmmakers themselves, these moments were tender, vulnerable, etc. but to others in the audience this was apparently humorous?
Yeah we still have a longgg way to go!
Cast was terrific- Alexandra Burke especially
