A Summer's Tale ★★★½

Love the palette and the casual flow of one day into the next. Really captures how summer love feels so fast and so slow.

The actual tessellations of Gaspard's love life were a little less interesting though. His indecisiveness was sympathetic at first, but as he dug each of three holes deeper and deeper, I eventually checked out a little.

It's a beautiful breezy watch. Doesn't feel nearly as long as the runtime. There's just not an interesting enough thesis at the center of the story for me to buy all the way in.
