There is a considerable amount of films that a person can praise because they were so well made. Others that make you cry because they were so emotional or relatable. A few that make you question how a certain scene was shot so masterfully that it almost looks impossible to replicate. There are screenplays with certain words combined in a certain way that can make you reflect about things that never crossed your mind before, or in this case, how…

    Requiem for a Dream

Cinema peaked in 2000 with this film. Only Requiem for a Dream to get my feet freezing and my mind completely numb. It doesn't matter if I'm watching this for the second or third time because it's just as shocking and terrifying as the first experience. I can't count with my fingers the number of films that affect me as much as this one and that lingered on my mind for so long.
It's simply a raw and unforgettable masterpiece.

It took me three years to realize that Greta Gerwig's Little Women is one of the few cinematic miracles of the 21st century.
This is a masterful work of art with probably the best cinematography of the 2010s. The attention to detail was mesmerizing, to say the least. The editing and the contrast between the warm and cold color palettes correlating with the different periods of these jovial sisters' lives while portraying their innocence and adulthood in the most beautiful…

It really amazes me how no one is talking about Michael Gazzo's performance. He was the highlight just behind De Niro and Pacino

    Spencer

    ★★★★

Spencer is not your typical biopic, nor a story about the life of Princess Diana.
It's an arthouse film that dives into the psyche of a hurting and sorrowful person, in which there's a presence of metaphors and dream sequences that convey feelings of suffering, isolation, and alienation. It's an eerie and confusing trip to Diana's subconscious, it's a character study more than anything else. And it's beautiful.
If you are not into slow-burns or films that don't focus on the story, just like Green Knight, this might not be for you.
What an amazing performance by Kristen Stewart.

Breaking the fourth wall just like in "Scream" while delivering some raw and shocking bits of ultra-violence just like in "Clockwork Orange."
This movie is fucking insane and watching it is an agonizing experience.
