Zolyx’s review published on Letterboxd:
Spencer is not your typical biopic, nor a story about the life of Princess Diana.
It's an arthouse film that dives into the psyche of a hurting and sorrowful person, in which there's a presence of metaphors and dream sequences that convey feelings of suffering, isolation, and alienation. It's an eerie and confusing trip to Diana's subconscious, it's a character study more than anything else. And it's beautiful.
If you are not into slow-burns or films that don't focus on the story, just like Green Knight, this might not be for you.
What an amazing performance by Kristen Stewart.
