Zach Owens’s review published on Letterboxd:
A more juvenile, over-the-top rehash of the original that gets so sidetracked by trying to defend itself within the film by commenting on the backlash of its existence and by inserting fan servicey moments that it never gets off the ground in the first place.
The only performance anyone has given any credit to is that of Kate McKinnon, but her style of affectation = comedy just didn't work for me. Neither did the all too frequent potty humor. Also, McCarthy is downright grating, and Feig can't create a compelling action sequence to save his life.
