  not sure about the weather when they shot this (I don’t think they were spraying the actors with water lol) but it seems so impractical that everyone is wearing long sleeves and jackets while sweating so much. they are so sweaty the whole time. and it ties everything together! makes perfect sense for the fever dream that this film is, that is exactly how being inside a nightmare feels - you’re wearing heavy clothing in hell

  it's insane to think maria schneider was already speaking about the abuse she suffered in the last tango in paris set in the 70s and to this day you'll see people defending bertolucci and brando... I feel like I had my third eye opened by this documentary. you can really tell how comfortable all of the amazing women were in delphine's presence. all of their thoughts about male homosexuality portrayed at that time are so interesting, their anger at this…
